Allen Robinson Is Very Likely OUT Of Jacksonville

Do want. This is the guy I wanted BAD in the second round that year but honestly didn't expect him to be there. He was. We took Kony Ealy at #60, Robinson went #61 to the Jags.

Surely coming off of a torn ACL will keep his contract somewhat reasonable.

Maybe a Keenan Allen type contract? 4 years/$45M?

Sign Honey Badger

Doubt we could afford them both. It would worry me having that much money tied up in players with injury red flags too.

If it came down to one or the other? Damn... that'd be a tough call. Both are damn good players at positions of obvious needs.

Wasn't Davante Adams the last big contract for a receiver?

Gotta expect his agent is gonna be looking for a big payday.

He’s the only receiver worth a damn this offseason. Would love him on the Panthers but idk how injury clauses in contracts and stuff work. If we’re covered incase his knee goes out again, I wouldn’t be against giving him a big contract.

    • yeah, Panther PR has done the Tepper is taking a backseat PR tour before.   It wasn't true at all the first time we saw them attempt that.   All the stuff you are referencing is stuff produced and put out by the Panthers.  I'm not acting like owners aren't in the war room.   I'm just saying Tepper is a proven commodity.  He is what he is.  And his tenure with BOTH his professional sports teams tell the exact same story about him.   He is not patient.  He didn't show patience last year.  He moved on from an absurd investment 2 games into the season.....and a frankly unimaginable turnaround by Bryce that was only allowed by injury reset some things.  I'm sure a billion times Raiders or Dallas or whatever fans convinced themselves their owners turned a new leaf too.  I'm not buying that.  There just isn't anything supporting Tepper isn't Tepper IMO.
    • Well last year the first team offense struggled against the Bills 3rd string defense. First string offense needed to convert a 4th down to score a TD.  If the starters play against backups and do what they are supposed to do, score easily, I’d say the reps are worth it. Would make me feel better. Unlike last preseason.
    • This right here. You also don’t want your 2 nd string oline going against their starting Dline and risk injury to whoever is taking snaps
