Carlos Hyde?

Has played most of his career on a horrible San Fran offense. He is a hammer and I think better days could be ahead for him. The question is what would he command in free agency and could we afford it? I think he is as good a option as any back not Barkley in this class. Thoughts?

Isiah Crowell. If we draft a RB in the first two rounds i'm losing my poo. Then again depends on what we do in FA. I think secondary and DE in the first two rounds would be more important. We still have CAP. why draft another running back if we did the same thing three years ago?

I like Jeremy Hill as a better value signing... can prob get em cheaper than Hyde and they’re pretty identical (same 40 time and both drafted in 2014). Feel like cincy had a shitty offensive line and he’d flourish with the run/pass option that Cam presents. I still think we draft a rb in the 3rd/4th and then we’re probably set for the next couple years with CMC’s versatility as well.

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
