lololololololol That's ridiculous.  For a guy you have to take out every other series because he's crying.  He throws more tantrums than he catches touchdowns.  Eat that contract, Bucs.  Eat it.

I see what you did there.  Nice.

That’s why it’s better to draft TEs :eyeroll:

LG is the next offensive priority, then maybe RB--but another TE weapon would be nice--and another WR only covers up one of the top 3 WRs (Fun, Smith, and Sam). A solid rookie  TE would be a more effective player than a 4th or 5th WR.

Mike Evans is a beast, but I don't care who it is, NO wideout is worth that kind of money. Not even Antonio Brown, Odell Beckham, or Julio Jones. Hell, I wouldn't spend that much to sign Jerry Rice in his prime.

A much better strategy is to get a QB who can get average/good receivers producing above their talent level (the hard part) and spend your big money on keeping that QB, putting a top OL in front of him, and keeping your defense strong.

This contract all but ensures the Bucs won't be a true title contender anytime soon. They'd have been better off trading Evans to a desperate team with a lot of cap space (Cleveland, basically) for a combo of picks and maybe a good young player on defense or the OL.

    • Gonna be interesting to watch. All reporting indicates he's gonna be out. From what I'm hearing he's out. The interesting part will be what happens next. The job has been staying within the "family" since Dean retired. But there's no one within the family that makes any sense at all right now. They'll have to go outside the family to hire a coach that's likely to be successful and tension between the school and the basketball family is already high right now with this plot to move the arena to Carolina North because the folks within the basketball family want it to stay at the Dean Dome and they feel misled because they feel like there was never any real consideration of revamping the Dean Dome and this whole evaluation process was just meant to make it look like that was being considered. The best outcome here IMO is that we hire a great coach from outside the family and we revamp the Dean Dome as an olive branch to the family. But the powers that be REALLY want a new arena at Carolina North.
    • yeah outside of 3 shots in a row for arsenal nothing has happened.  I need a quick goal for them and then MC start to press.  Need 2 shots for Arsenal and all 4 still for MC
