Tells me they're going after Barkley # 1.

I want them to take Barkley and then Chubb

Then trade back into the first for their QB giving the Panthers some extra picks like the 33 and 35 for our 1st and 2nd

This is good for Cleveland

1. They drafted Kizer last year.  People forget some had him hyped as a 1st round QB going into last years draft and the highest ceiling out of the drafted QBs.  He was thrown into the fire.  Taylor gives them the option to start until Kizer is ready.

2. A Lot of teams need a QB.  At the #1 spot they have the option to trade out, even the #4 spot.  Teams like the Broncos, Jets, Cardinals need QBs real bad.  Unless they get Cousins they will be fighting to jump each other.

3. Now they have a Huge Arsenal of Weapons in the passing game, a Ton of picks and Cap space to fill the gaps.  This GM almost would almost have to purposely fug this up in order to screw up.

Or... not quite!

Taylor hasn't been a great QB,  but he's certainly been a decent one.

As opposed to leaning on Kizer or a rookie that may or may not be worth a damn,  I could easily see hedging your bet on the ultimate game manager in Taylor.

If Hue could get him to play more out of his shell,  then Taylor could possibly be more than good.
