I'm about to panic over our DBs right now, so it sure sounds good to me.  I know nothing

about him, but we've gotten to page 2 without the usual "he sucks" comments, so I'm on board.

As we all should be. We have a big immediate need at FS and starting CB. IMO, FS is our biggest immediate need.

If the money is right absolutely. Above average speed for position...above average coverage ability for position...average/below average tackling...Above average/average play recognition. If we bring him in and still draft a safety earlier as others have noted, he could be a good stop gap and potential full year starter. He’d also likely be a little more motivated playing for his home team. I’m in.

If we’re talking comebacks I’m rooting for Tre Boston. Not shure How much he will cost us now though

Was there any really good reasons for letting him go, didn’t really vist anything

Playing escalators inflated his salary and at the time he was pretty inconsistent so Getts said seeya.

He then went on to have a great year in LA, and the money we saved we blew on Matt Kalil.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
