So, basically, we still need 2 starting secondary players, and a run stopping DE to take 40% of the snaps. Our defense really does need 3 legit NFL dudes.

And on offense, we could truly use at least 1 interior OL starter, 1 RB, 1 TE, and 1 WR. Oh yeah, and possibly a backup QB too.

So we are 8 players away from being a complete and competitive team.

Maybe 2 of those come from the draft and the other picks are simply young depth we can't rely on as rookies.

Ok, that's fine. 6 more free agents and we are set. Let's do it!

Hurney gonna Hurney.  He is the worst.  We look like complete clowns to the rest of the league.

Makes you wonder if the reason they failed him was if he wasn’t up front about it. If the injury happened on the 4th, and he “agreed” to a deal after and that could have affected his money, that probably pissed the Panthers off

I was thinking this exact same angle.

A third rounder for ronald darby

Darby would be nice.

But only if we could sign him to an extension before the trade.  You don't give up a 3rd round pick for a guy with only one year left on his contract without further guarantees.
