Did Hurney know before signing Poe that Breeland failed his exam?

This just occured to me. They might not have announced until now b/c really the numbers didn't add up for Poe but after Breeland being let go, it certainly does.

Maybe, but he has to know we need a quality starting CB to go alongside Bradberry.  Either that or we go after a great safety and draft a CB early on.

Breeland was only counting 3.9m towards cap this season.

Tracing back it was reported we tried to retain Star and the Poe signing was more a side effect of that, than having anything to do with Breeland.

In wonder if they would trade him st this point?  I doubt it since they lost Robsinson already.  Darby is cheap and they are in cap hell.  Doubt they will part with him.
