Here is my take. Trade down to high second round.  Take whoever drops of: DJ Moore, Connor Williams, Wynn, Hernandez, Jackson, Alexander, or Reid.  I feel like one of those guys will drop.  That trade should give us a high 2nd and high 3rd.

If I had my guess who may actually drop out of the first it would be Wynn, Reid or Alexander.

High 2nd: Wynn or Alexander , Reid (Reid my choice).  S

2nd: Gesicki ( fixes red zone issues) TE

High 3rd: Ragnow (From 24th trade down) C

High 3rd: Freeman (Gave up 5th to trade up) RB

3rd: Eq Brown / Deshaun Hamilton WR

6th:. Tony Adams G

7th: Chandon Sullivan CB

7th:. A project DE.

Yes I know Reid is projected 1st Rd.   But look at this year's free agent market for safeties.  It's dead.  You use the first round pick for high value positions that could benefit from the 5th year option.  Safeties aren't getting paid.  I predict he drops to early second.

My only issue is Gesicki may not last till our pick in the 2nd. If not I would get Josh Sweat DE or Hayden Hurst TE.  If the pick is Sweat try to target TE's David Wells or Will Dizzly in late rounds. Dizzly is a great blocking TE2. Or Dalton Shultz TE.

Also like other late round guys like: Apke S, D. Cantrell WR, Roc Thomas RB, Bozeman C, It Smith RB,  N Jamerson S,

Trade 24,56, and 161 to Browns for 33,35 and 114.

Target whoever is left between Jackson or Reid. I’m willing to gamble if it means I can get Sony Michel also.

33- Josh Jackson, Reid , Davis, Oliver in that order.

35-Michel, Guice. If both are gone hopefully one of the above is still there. Need a consistent, cheap compliment to CMC or this offense is going to struggle.

Use pick 114 and find a way to get Jessie Bates in the early third if Reid wasn’t selected earlier. Hopefully you have Jackson, Michel, and Bates at this point and 88 left. Use that on best TE/WR/OL available.

Sorry I got off track from the OPs intentions. Just started thinking out loud.

    • Facts it's still crazy that they made him sell over that especially considering what some of the other owners have done.  JR was a rich 80 year old white man from the south I'm not at all surprised about him making some "inappropriate" comments about what a woman is wearing water is wet what a surprise. That's just the way things were done during his time, and he should and did get punished for his actions by paying some hefty fines, but it definitely wasn't something that he should've been forced to sell his team over.  I'll never forget him insulting Peyton Manning during a negotiation, reportedly belittling the quarterback’s knowledge of player safety and asking, “Do I need to help you read a revenue chart, son?
    • Like many of the old heads, I’ve been here for a long time.  I got a lot of respect for everyone on this board for your dedication to this team.  We’ve all been through it during the tougher years. At this point in life, I’m not one to judge anyone’s level of dedication, or their reasons why anymore.  Time, and a lot of bad football, will do that.  For me, it’s simple.  We share a common bond.  For that, I love and appreciate all of you crazy SOB’s. For me, last season was at a minimum, entertaining.  BY lead a young team to multiple come from behind 4th qtr wins.  That showed me heart, and that he has the clutch gene.  That’s the wildcard intangible.  For me, that was fun to watch even  if it was mindbogglingly frustrating at times.  Over the past two seasons, we have progressively built a better team around him.  On paper, the defense should be better this season.  That’ll help.  Let’s see what he can do as the other guys continue to develop too.  Besides, his contract is cheap for a few more years, and we just made some smart cap decisions during the draft. Let’s see how it shakes out.
