Mel Kiper's Mock Draft 4.0

There is always guaranteed 2-3 trades every year in the first round. Someone is going to overpay for someone and this whole mock is going out the window.

Dont see us skipping DJ Moore and Calvin Ridley if they both just fall to 24 that easily. I think Hurney would be more than happy to get a servicable saftey rounds 2 or 3 .

I have no problem with the Reid pick in most mock drafts... but if Landry and Ridley are still on the board which are absolute impact positions and we go safety instead I will be a bit bummed. A lot easier to get a playmaking safety in rounds 2-3 than WRs and DEs (although Kiper has Landry listed as a OLB I see him as Addison on steriods)

I bolded the players that shined for them. You'd think they'd focus on grabbing a LB or TE in the draft in the 1st.

oh poo! Landry is from my home town (Spring Lake NC). First NFL player I ever noticed being listed as from out here

no way they could pass on Landry. that said, i pray to god they would pass on any WR in the 1st.

God I don't want Reid in the 1st, i'm sure hes good but it just seems so underwhelming.

Just checked last year's draft, there were 10 trades in the first round. 

I'm going to take the under for this year's draft.

No because that would actually require some effort and research/knowledge of the team rather than just looking at who they lost in FA and connecting the dots with the next best guy available at that position.
