I’m not even gonna downplay Ridley, good player and can be a threat along side julio, but never thought both Moore and Ridley would be available at 24

Ridley has a drop problem that was masked by Bo Scarborough ability to bruise a secondary and make them react.

Easy. Ridley isn’t superstar good and isn’t better than Sanu at this point and Atlanta’s got plenty bigger holes they didnt address.

Sanu and Jones are better by a mile.

this. Sanu is just as good if not better than ridley at this point in their careers. Weird pick

Can't even pretend like he was a bad pick because he's a stud and it would have been stupid of them to reach for someone else. That's a scary WR group for sure but we'll address the secondary tomorrow and hopefully Atlantas other holes end up being too much for them to overcome

Reid has been a default choice for too long 'round these parts.  I'm telling you, he may end up in the 3rd.  That one year, Dion Bailey was continuously mocked in the 1st-2nd and ended up a UDFA.  Safeties are a perceived way differently with scouts and teams than with the media.  The Hokie going early is another classic indicator.

Ridley is 24 in December. Gonna be almost 30 by his 2nd contract.

DJ Moore just turned 21 a few weeks ago. Hes gonna be 26 by his next contract.

Thats a 2 1/2 year age difference.

That surely escaped me. Thanks for pointing it out!

    • Right and I think we can have a conversation about that. But even with the scheme he should still be able to muster more than 1.5 sacks right? I mean DJ Johnson played in Evero's scheme too but that didn't stop us from calling him a bust. Scourton didn't seem to have trouble flashing. There can be different things true at one time.
    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
