We just picked another Daeshon Hall, both are great pass rushers, but undersized.  FWIW, I'm ok with this pick, but how Hall looks this season will 100% tell us whether or not we have the training staff to get him bulked up properly without losing his speed.

Also, just saying, I'm very big on Daeshon Hall, I think he's gonna be a huge surprise to a lot of people this year with him having a full season to bulk up.

how is hall undersized ?

Not even close. Hall has pretty prototypical 4-3 DE size at 6'5" 266. Haynes is prototypical 4-3 LB size at 6'2" 235.

I don't hate the pick, I'm just curious to see how we use him. I'm guessing pass rush specialist and special teamer.

I'm an FSU fan and Josh Sweat is overrated as hell because of his athleticism. Right now is the nitpicky portion of the draft when literally all these GMs are throwing crap against the wall and ruining basement mock drafts

The problem is, Hurney always seems to start the "throwing crap" approach from the 2nd round on.

I remember reading a lot of stuff about him that for him to properly work in a 4-3, he would need to add 15-20 pounds so he can keep the edge.  He's working to take the spot that CJ/Peppers was, this kid will be a replacement for Mario Addison.  Measurables fit for both, but weight in muscle is needed for both guys.  Just my opinion though.
