PANTHERS UDFA's

Honestly I disagree. Small things like UDFAs are where good teams become great. Like Dave finding Philly Brown and the White Buffalo. Of course Norwell exceeded all expectations but it just goes to show even players like Philly can help. Hurney wasted two UDFA signings on QB. A almost worthless pick up that could have been used at other positions like RB, LB, and DB. Just like him drafting a LB who probably would have been there in UDFA. It's small things like that make differences.

Nice job from our front office. From my research it looks like all of the first 25 guys in this list have signed.  So we go into the draft with the #3 ranked offense in need of a RB and of course we don’t draft one. OK maybe the board didn’t fall their way.  But they can’t sign any UFDA’s so far either?  Did our front office go on vacation??????????

Atlanta has 3 decent backs. Drafted another one   And added another 2 already.

Just as an aside, it may not have been as easy to have UDFAs sign with us this year considering our disarray in the front office.

With as many as they quickly signed that doesn't appear to have been an issue

Hurney has no business being an NFL GM.

We had a strategy of spending the majority of our alloted UDFA cap sapce on  2 or 3 main guys we really wanted instead of 10-12 mid level guys.

Gettleman has been doing this for years but Hurney does it and everyone here wants to commit suicide or something.

Exactly the stigma of Hurney on these boards is becoming over the top now. At this point he can't do anything right in thier eyes. I just wish they'd realize that they are being so biased from past pain. Most non panther  fans on social media think we did really well.

Could have had Guice at 55.

Not hating on DJack at 55, but a RB with a mean streak and now a chip on his shoulder paired with CMC >>>a fast CB that has question marks about playing outside.

I think Jackson will settle in eventually as our future CB2, and can slide to nickel in sub-packages but a Marshawn Lynch style RB along with Moore and Thomas would've set our franchise up nicely for the remainder of Cam's time in Carolina.
