Last year we carried 4 RBs on the active roster but CAP was inactive most Sundays.

How much are we going to spend on one to be inactive, or CAP inactive again?

That was part of what I was trying to get to in th “l like CAP” thread.  People keep misinterpreting adding a RB as not liking CAP thing.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD SOUND GM DRAFT WORK TO TAKE A DEVELOPMENTAL RB IN ONE OF THE DEEPEST RB DRAFTS IN RECENT YEARS TO HELP OUR DEPTH CHART AT A VERY ECONOMICAL PRICE.

Instead he have a total roster with 3 total RB’s.

We don’t even have Scoot Simmons I think.  Just CMC, CAP, And Fuzzy.

We did get one intriguing UDFA in Bonnaford

We are also going to have to look at another FA safety also with no cap money left.

WE ARE ONE INJURY AWAY FROM A MESS.

Calling this one of the deepest running back drafts in years is a bit of a stretch. There were maybe 4 quality rbs in this draft in total.

last year’s draft was pretty deep at RB though. Maybe you are speaking about that?

as for signing a FA now - if you are free agent at this point in the season or after June 1st, it’s nit going to cost much to sign you for a year or two. So I wouldn’t worry about that.

it would be dramatic to think the panthers are backed into a corner right now. We have massive flexibility.

Didn’t realize CAP is already 27. How much is left for him anyway before he really starts declining? 2-3 seasons?
