Flacco and Roethlisberger

I hate when players aren't being "team guys". This is a business. Just shut your mouth and do you job. Let your play do the talking. If someone else beats you out then it's time to take a lesser role, go to another team, or just retire.

ben's been talking about retiring for a couple years and then he starts whining about them drafting a QB? lol

dude's a less talented bret favre.

That's my problem with it, you say you don't know if you want to keep playing, then when the team gets themselves ready for the future just in case you get upset.

If he woke up tomorrow and retired without the team drafting young options in back to back years they'd be fuged

The guy's 36. If he can't stand having a potential replacement on the team at this point then he's living in fantasy land.

I never really thought Flacco was that great, to be honest.

Yeah, he has a Super Bowl ring. So does Trent Dilfer, with the same team.

Flacco was great during their Super Bowl run, but were it not for the failure of the Denver secondary on the hail mary, he'd have never been paid. (to the extent he was)

Bens always been a no good big mouth rapist. Can't expect him to suddenly act any differently.

Rudolph is a kid who's gone on mission trips and done relief work.

So yeah, I wouldn't really want Roethlisberger mentoring him either.

To be worth what he's been paid, he'd have to be practically legendary over the last few years of his contract.

Trent is a good example of this, but no one mentions Brad Johnson winning a SB. That year the Bucs played their scout team basically bc Gruden knew every play that was being called. Heck, Clausen could have won that year.

Johnson is a valid comparison.
