The offensive version of Wade Phillips

I’m not sure Cam really needs “coaching up” as much as the Panthers just need some offensive plays that don’t appear to have been drawn up by a four-year-old.

This. Cam has a better football mind than most drones in the media think. The dude knows the game and studies film like an animal. Just give him a better scheme and he will flourish.

I'm real excited to see norv in action . It was fun watching them in 2012 and 2011 when chud was the oc and he ran norv turners system , now we have the mastermind running the ship .

this also means Rivera trusts norv enough to call his offense and he will have little to no input on it .

It may also mean that Norv will select the players to run his system. Ignoring the RR requirement of the oldest guy starts.  We need an injection of youth.  Hopefully Norv makes the personnel calls on offense.

It's not his football mind that needs coaching it's his throwing mechanics and accuracy. Dorsey was terrible. His being replaced is just as important as Shula.

I think not being called on it also hurt. You could tell Shula and Dorsey were more friends then coaches at the end there. They never challenged him in that way. You can't get better if your not told your bad even if I don't think his mechanics are as bad a people think.

If you aren't improving you are getting worse.

Cam is an amazing QB and I have probably the most rose colored glasses ever made but even I know Cam could Improve in certain areas.

I hope Norv wears him out.   Cam isn't a quitter and will work on what Norv teaches him.  Norv will make Cam a better QB than he already is.

i don't think that norv is going to change cam. what he'll do is change the situation to maximize cam's talents.

he said it before. put cam in better situations. fix what happens around him and you'll get more out of him.

Yea but he needs to improve his completion  rate by 5-6% to move into the top tier QB  class.

Which can be easily accomplished if he works to improve his foot mechanic and throwing motion.

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
