Cam Jordan shows Newton Respect

On First thing First a morning sports show featuring Chris Carter and a sports analyst Nick Wright pretty good show with a lot of different perspectives. Today Cam Jordan was on speaking how most feel imo when asked about top NFC teams he said Eagles champs those Rams loaded up (Saints) his team and "Cam Newton and the panthers because Cam can pretty much do it All."

The next segment he went on to answer toughest QB to play/pass rush? First name out of his mouth Cam Newton he says he runs side line to side line is hard to tackle when u get to him. Then comes back runs for fourty yards up the field. And then is ready to play the next play like sheeesh.

Now with that said I don't see how we can't feel this offense will be absolutely dynamic with the additions of Smith/Wright/CJ/Moore/NORV/Thomas we all think Cams a monster the league feels it weekly but the increase in talent around him makes me think this may be closer to a MVP year because he won't have to carry the team but will benefit from good numbers from a bunch of playmakers spread out all over the field. With Norv and those raggedy WR from the playoff game we probably win add a huge talent jump and a better schemer it starts to look like a dominate offensive year for us. Since we've been recently talking about how much of a monster Jordan is I was glad to hear how he really feels about playing us.

Cam has praised Cam quite often. Yall usually just tune into when he's making jokes lol.

Same for Von Miller. Players know how good he is and it's usually fans who think they are making fun of Cam N by saying he's good. Guess what he's great and its fun for great players to go against each other.

For the most part the guys you talk the most poo to and about are usually the guys you respect the most. If you think a guy is trash he's not going to be in your mind to talk trash about.

Precisely. He's mentioned more than once that Cam is his favorite QB to compete against.

    • Sellers is absolutely one to keep an eye on. Could be the next Cam or could be the next Anthony Richardson. Curious to see how he has progressed come this fall.
    • I think Texas could go 0-12 and he would still go #1 based on his name and traits like you say.  But nusselman and sellers may be actually better qbs.    Man if bryce stinks it up this season its looking like a damn good year to swap out qbs.  Sellers highlights are just fuging jaw dropping
    • I mean, the kid comes from a wealthy family. It's not like he needs the money. He has a ton of potential now we get to see what he can do as a starter. Everyone penciling him in as the #1 overall pick is putting the cart way before the horse. It's 5% because of his talent and what he's showing on the field and 95% because his last name is Manning. And if he is what he's hyped to be the Texas coaching staff needs to be answering some tough questions about why the kid wasn't on the field sooner. Ewers was a good college QB but he's definitely not a "keep a future #1 overall pick waiting" type of college QB. Only getting one season out of a top NFL talent because you chose to keep him buried behind a borderline NFL talent is just coaching negligence. Not starting him as a true freshman? Yeah, I get that. But on year two if the kids is what he's hyped to be you gotta wish Ewers well elsewhere and turn the page.
