Tepper flew in to meet with players

Just now on WFNZ, Jim Szoke mentioned hearing that new Panthers owner David Tepper was flying into Charlotte today to meet with team captains and have a general discussion.

I haven't been able to find confirmation of this anywhere else, but I'm hoping it's true. I think this would be a good move on his part.

Absolutely. I'd love to be a fly in that room. I'm really hoping he wants to let them be them. That relaxed locker room in 2015 was a big part of the success.

So per Kelsey Riggs, it was actually yesterday immediately after the owners meetings.

Notable to me that he's not waiting to get acquainted. Nor is he shying away from discussing a topic that might be on their minds.
