Best offseasons, per Gil Brandt

I'm not so much looking to compare the Panthers offseason here because this isn't exactly a pool of unbiased people on that topic.

More interested in a discussion of whether he's right or if there are other teams that can be said to have done better.

Not sure about those teams but the Panthers have had their best offseason in years.

-refresh and improvement at receiver

-added a 1,000 yard rusher

-much improved secondary

-resigned Pep

-added Poe

Vikings made a mistake paying Cousins but they could be better with him this year (though losing Shurmur as OC hurt). Not a big fan of the Browns' draft, overpaying (and trading for) Landry or trading for Tyrod. Giants I think did pretty well but Solder was overpaid (better than Matt Kalil, Getty, but still overpaid) and I really think they should've gone QB at #2 as this was their only opportunity and Eli sucks but Barkley is definitely a beast and worthy of a top pick so that's not too bad.

I'm not sure I'd put any of those 3 in the top 5 of best offseasons...

I’m not arguing with you, but u really think our secondary is much improved?

im surprised to see that the panthers weren’t on that list. I wasn’t blown away with some of their draft choices (did love the first rounder) but I think all in all, especially considering the change in ownership, we had a really good offseason. Hopefully a few more tweaks can be made here and there.

The Browns have hade the "best offseason" the past seven years.

To make that list you had to add a veteran player it seems. Browns added two Giants the same Vikings added a vet qb, I believe we would have signed Reid we probably would have. But even tho I'm onboard with Searcy he's been jag that was before he drunk that Ron revitalization juice we keep for players like him M Oher J Allen etc Kurt C stopped drinking it last season we saw how that worked out.

Dontari Poe isn't a veteran player?
