Trade Idea!

I'm still interested to see what Cleveland does with their roster. When u look at the team - it's a lineup of over-leveraged players on terrible contracts.. but there is a lot of talent that can help any team:

Kevin Love, Larry Nance, Jordan Clarkson, JR Smith, Tristan Thompson and Kyle Korver

Love OR Nance could really be a huge help for us if we move any of the PFs or Cs on our team. Throw in MKG for good measure since we are heavy on Wing players.

Revisiting this, it really is a solid proposal.

I'd even replace our 2nds with a top 20 protected first round pick (maybe even lottery protected only).

Batum has stated that he will be moving back to small forward and unless the Hornets plan on having Bridges ride the pine pony a move needs to be made to free up some room.

If a deal like this went through, a potential first and second unit could like like this:

PG: Kemba, Parker

SG: Lamb, Monk

SF: Batum, Bridges

PF: Parker, Marv

C: Zeller, Hernagomez

9-12: Bacon, Biyombo, Graham

Two-Way: Macura

Additionally, the Bucks would look like:

PG: Bledsoe, Jennings

SG: Middleton, Brogdon

SF: MKG, Snell

PF: Giannis, Frank

C: Lopez, Henson

9-12: Teletovic, Dellavedova, Maker

Nobody would say no except the Bucks. Our best bet if Bucks want cap relief would be:

Frank, Lamb, 2-2nds+ Trade Exception for Parker but even that I don't think the Bucks would do. Also don't know if we could do that and resign Kemba next year.

OP sorry but this is a dream, unrealistic trade IMO

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
