Charles Johnson, Benjamin, and DeAngelo = Trash

Recommended Posts

Rae Carruth aside of course but the 3 top punks/cowards/poison that have ever wore a Panthers uniform are DeAngelo Williams, Charles Johnson, and Kelvin Benjamin in that order.   DeAngelo we know is bitter AF and was a hidden malcontent his whole time here....posed as a good guy to public but was an ass to the team.  Then once he was gone he’s been the biggest dick ever.    Charles Johnson got to stay his whole career with Panthers and he’s still in back circles always talking crap about certain players.  Yes maybe some of our key guys were a little immature in the beginning but C.J. has never let it go.   He’s caused rifts and splits among the team.  And he started partying way too much at certain clubs during his last 3-4 years (Stache/Vault) and took Tolbert, Hardy, and others down that same path....that made their on the field play go down.   Last year he got Captain to start hanging out in that nightclub scene and changed his attitude 360.   CJ has influenced even non Panthers like Lance Stephenson in his short tenure in Charlotte as well as plenty of young Panthers.  KB we found out earlier in the week he’s a bitch and it was confirmed before the game tonight so not much more to say than that.

Greg Hardy def had or has issues and if he did physically assault a female he’s in that Carruth category but at least he doesn’t try to act holier than now like DeAngelo and CJ.  The worst two panthers ever.

Lol Charles Johnson was openly rooting for the team on twitter earlier. Get out.

And backing Kelvin. You can't be a friend of my enemy and be my friend. Either pick a side or stay completely neutral. Talking about KB got hands, he never seen Cam fight

I’ll say this for those that need to hear it again. Grown people make their own decisions. Stop blaming others for their influence and start owning up for your own actions.

With that aside, where in the name of Batman did the C.J. info you’re getting come from?

Munnerlyn is a grown ass man. Are you telling me that during his first stint as a Panther that he was unaffected by CJ, and now, all of a sudden, that he's now CJ's poodle?  Come on, man. They're all grown ass men and professionals.  To that point, professionals make bonds and root for each other across team color lines. They are more of a brotherhood than some may think. That is not to say that they're rooting against their team, especially when games actually matter.

Lastly, Hardy is in no way in the Rae Carruth category.

I don't know what is going on with this OP.

But I will say that Charles Johnson should consider the 74 million dollars in earnings from the Carolina Panthers through 11 seasons before stanning for Kelvin Benjamin on social media at a time like this.

    • A winning record would be nice, but I still have us winning around the 6 to 8 game mark. Realistically we should beat the Jets and Saints, that gets us to 5 wins. After that, we have to face a lot of potential play off teams and our divisional opponents. I think we’ll win 1 or 2 of those games to take us to 6 or 7 wins, perhaps 8 wins if we can spring a further surprise.  Is that enough progress for head coach and QB? I’m not sure, it will depend on performances and output. That said, it’s nice to be back in a position where we are thinking about the play offs.
    • I would tend to agree about not falling into the trap and paying a below average QB, but sometimes situations can “force” a team to pay that QB. For example, if we play ourselves into a 9-8 like record, then what options will we have in the draft? Or do we avoid the draft and trade for or sign someone in free agency?  I’m not convinced by the 2026 QB draft class. There’s some intriguing prospects but no one that really screams “draft me”. I’m not sure we’ve got anyone really that stands out as a trade candidate or free agent signing. So although we might not want to commit a big money contract to Young, him playing well and showing progress might force the team’s hand.
    • Realistically we would be looking at no more than a mid round pick for Dowdle or Chuba. Are we really that desperate for a mid round pick? Not really. I would much prefer us utilise the two RBs in a 1-2 punch similar to how we used D-Will and Stewart. After all, Bryce is not Drew Brees. He won’t throw for 300+ yards and carry the team consistently as a passer. So having a strong running game with a 1-2 punch will be beneficial to him, and it will also be beneficial to the RBs because we can spell them and not overwork them.
