Well this will be something to monitor going forward. Hate injuries to good players but can’t deny this will help us week one.

Speculation so far goes as far as a best case MCL Sprain to either a torn ACL or patellar tendon.

Keep eyes opened.

Awful stuff.  Injuries suck, but preseason injuries are the worst and hope destroying.  Losing a guy like that though, should he not play Week 1...zero excuse to lose.  Dak has a few guys off the streets at WR, no more Witten, we're good against the run anyway, go to Atlanta 1-0.

Zack Martin is said to be fine. After leaving the locker room, he was standing on the sideline without crutches and talking to teammates. Possibly a bruised knee.

Exactly, but people here on this rumor mill wanna act like he's hurt for real and will miss time haha it shows their true colors that they follow cowboys Twitter and beat writers

Reportedly will undergo an MRI according to Rapoport’s retweeted source, and the early assumption is that the injury isn’t serious.

Dr. Chao is saying he thinks it’ll probably turn out to be a contusion and nothing major or season threatening.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
