I don't like playing preseason games on Friday night because of HS football conflicts

My high school won the state title last year.. When I went there, they couldn't win poo

That’s how it was for me in college. We ain’t win crap while I was there, as soon as I leave they flip a switch and start dominating

It's two nights actually this year (Friday night game last week too) which is nearly 20% of a local team's entire schedule.

I think you think I'm attacking the team when I'm not. Just curious as to how and why the Friday games are played on Fridays.

Because the NFL could give a rats ass about competing with high school football. They're not airing regular season games on Friday Night? How was this even worth a post? Stream it at the high school game or watch it later. Why am I scheduled on a Friday night knowing damn well high school football is on? I'm taking a damn knee.

Til Anthony Barber and Garner came a knocking. Maybe different era I am old as dirt.

Yeah, I'm talking late '90s.

It was Crest, West Charlotte, and Richmond County in those days with Richmond being the most dominant. Then came that crazy run Independence had.

I went to a basketball school. We won two 4A state titles in the '90s and just added a 3A in '14. I'm pretty sure the '98 team ended up ranked top 10 nationally. Four of those guys played D1 college ball. We've probably won about the same number in women's titles.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
