Upgrades by Tepper

He has certainly hit the ground running.

At the first home game of the regular season Sept. 9, fans will notice some ways Tepper is already working to improve the experience at Bank of America Stadium — small changes intended to get people to show up, and to keep them engaged.

One of the biggest updates so far is that the number of TVs on the 100- and 500-level concourses has doubled. Additionally, large LED boards have been added to the the club level so that fans there can share the “in-bowl” experience. The Panthers have added digital menu boards at concession stands throughout the stadium, too.

A few weeks ago, the Panthers launched a mobile app that allows some fans to order and pay for food and drinks from their seats, then retrieve their order at a nearby pick-up point. The initial rollout of the service will be on the 100-level concourse, the team has said.

Another major feature of the app is mobile ticketing, which is replacing print-at-home PDF tickets. The PDF tickets, the team has said, will no longer be valid for entry.

Not to mention the midfield logo.  And I assume he is behind the uniform experiments in pre season?

The print at home tickets no longer being valid nearly kept me out of the game last week.  Fortunately, I had my email on my phone and was able to download the app and tickets, but I still don't see how that is an upgrade.

I think it mainly prevents you from buying fraudulent tickets.  People can make fake paper tickets easier than spoofing Ticketmaster to transfer them.

That's my assumption anyways.

Pull an ATL and make the concessions cheaper and this man will have my undying support.... Or an indoor practice facility, Ill pay 10 bucks a beer if that bad boy is getting built.

Its a sham because their ticket prices are rediculous. Trust me they make that money back.

I understand why they did it.  I just wish there would have been some kind of warning when I bought them.  Although I suppose that is more on the ticket vendor than the panthers.

    • TMac is a good player and would've been the right pick if our QB could throw a ball farther than 40 yards. For this team's current build (run first, game management passing attack) and the fact that our TE's are laughably bad - the five on our roster have combined for less than 600 yards total, with 3 TDs - Warren should've been the pick.
    • If anyone feels like they can't have a conversation about Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career maybe assess why and how these conversations end this way instead of looking to shoot the messenger. Why is it okay to label anyone else on the team or coaching staff trash? Folks on the huddle and across the fanbase on social media have fully thrown anyone and everyone including rookie 8th overall pick TMac fully under the bus multiple times this season. But some of you guys apparently expect a pat on the back because Bryce Young successfully evaded a few potential sacks while Tyler Shough got consumed by our pass rush throughout the game and still had a superior performance. The state of this division is hilariously mediocre at best. Bryce Young is the only player on this roster who is allowed to have the lowest bar possible yet we have invested the most resources in him. It's lunacy.
