From the stands, Donte Jackson looked like the best player on the field yesterday

His closing speed was insane, he was laying wood out there, they were targeting him all game and constantly made the play.

His penalties were things they wouldn't call on him if he was a third year player.

Also I appreciate a guy who so obviously never stops talking poo when he's on the field.

Shake them dreads, Donte

Appreciate the love for our new CB but the best players on the field were Luke/KK.

Two sacks and constant interior pressure from KK and Luke being Luke will always have your defense on track. One of the only things these talk shows are getting right this morning is KK making the Cowboys Oline hold his pocket.

I didn't really notice much from Poe yesterday

Same here.  Up until the 3rd quarter, I forgot he was even on the team.  Then I remembered and thought about trying to find him and forgot again.  Short and Addison had great games.  DJackson was definitely a pleasant surprise.

I think he did a pretty good job yesterday, especially for a rookie starting his first game.

I'd feel better about it if Dak Prescott hadn't looked terrible.

Here's hoping Jackson looks equally good when he's facing a quarterback that isn't putting a bunch of his throws in the dirt.

I think he did well for a rookie, but nowhere close to the best player on the field... on defense, that honor goes to Luke, Shaq, and KK yesterday and it ain't even close.

I think he played well for a rookie.  He had 2 PI penalties on him, the first being a ridiculously soft call by the ref but the second one was totally legit.  Many people were complaining he got called on that second one, but when you grab the neck of the receivers jersey and hold on to it and pull it down while the receiver is running his route, if the ref sees it you're either gonna get defensive holding or PI and you'll deserve it.

But I don't have any complaints with that performance out of a rook, no doubt.
