Did Dallas play dirty yesterday?

I don't know if anyone made a topic on this, I know it was talked about in the game discussion yesterday.  I found it obvious how DeMarcus Lawrence went straight in on Daryl's knee.  To me it was a complete cheap shot.  Then today I thought about Greg Olsen's injury, which at the time I didn't think much of it.  Yet the more I considered what happened to Daryl, and wonder if the Cowboys made a conscious decision to play dirty?  Both Olsen and Williams came into the game hobbled.  Everyone knew Olsen had foot problems last year, and Williams came in with a knee injury suffered in the preseason.  How is it Olsen gets his foot stepped on when the ball didn't go his way on that play? (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)  Again, we know how Lawrence dove at Williams' knee.  I'll tell you like this, knowing these Cowboys, I wouldn't put it pass them if they went Greg Williams' bountygate style out there.  All I can say is, we bet not see these punks again this year, which of course I doubt they make the playoffs.

Dude totally went after William’s knee.

100% dead obvious and it was bush league, Lawrence was quiet outside that fumble recovery early in the game, then after he placed the crown of his helmet into WIlliams' knee after the play was over while on all fours I saw it soon as they did the replay.

What really sucks about the NFL is that this sort of thing happens all the time with no real repercussions. Dude should be sued if he blatantly costs another player money because of a short career.

    • The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
    • This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
    • The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
