Anyone else notice that Corn Elder got some time at outside corner late in the game? Not sure if it was a coaching decision or if it was an injury. Jackson got burned on a few plays today including the TD to Ridley. Not the best day for the rookie.

Also he's been flagged three times so far and I don't think I've agreed with a single one of the calls. Super ticky tacky stuff.

We clearly fell on his own today, I was yelling at the TV like someone was gonna over rule it haha

For a rookie he’s playing decent, the int was really nice, got juked but at least was in position and hustle back to make the tackle, he’s gonna get better once we quit running so much soft zone 10 yard off coverage

He’s going to be a very good corner, growing pains mean you’re going to make mistakes. Got no problems with him

I haven't seen anything but promising performances from DJack so far.  Yes, he's made some mistakes . . . he is a rookie, we need to expect that.  I noticed a couple times he took bad angles in run support today, and his leverage wasn't the best on the TD to Ridley.  But again . . . rookie.

The PI today was complete horse crap though.

Jackson is the best rookie corner I've seen for the Panthers in a while. I also didn't see him get burned per say, the Falcons just found gaps in our zone at the hand off points.

Even though it was his fault, the chase down tackle was something. This man is FAST.

    Man, I love me some Jackson. The kid is willing to stick his nose in there and make a tackle. Which, I memory serves, was the biggest concern with Huddles after the draft. Was he too small to tackle? I guess not. lol

 

    For a second game rook? I liked what I saw. I am comfortable with our 2 main CBs. Yup.

    I have a different feeling on that. First, he did his job, by cutting off the edge, and turning the RB back up field. Mayo got washed, so there was no one there to clean up the play. And yeah, the chase down was cool to watch.

 

    With that said. I truly believe that when Jackson shot up to set the edge, he got there quicker than he though he would. He kinda went wider than maybe he should have. He maybe could have taken a more direct path to the edge. Where he maybe could have met the RB, and shut down the whole play. But I guess I am just trying to nitpick, trying to make my view sound reasonable. After all, turning the play back up field is his main priority there.

 

    Either way, I would not say that run was on him.
