Would you trade CMC for another RB?

Todd Gurley

Zeke Elliott

LeVeon Bell

Alvin Kamara(?)

Saquan Barkley(?)

With Norv, no. With a different type of OC who lacked the creativity and wanted to stick to basic power running, yes. For whom? Gurley and Barkley, Fournette if healthy. 

 

I just think CMC is perfectly suited for our O and OC.

Yeah what the hell is going on with all the trade CMC threads. U do know he is only 3 yds back from being leading rusher and in second for rbs in reception yds.

What is the deal with these hypothetical trade CMC threads?

You absolutely do not trade guys who are only in their 2nd year year of their cap friendly rookie contracts while they're killing it for you.

Gurley is only one that would make sense talent-age wise, but a huge plus for CMC is I’ve never recalled him being hurt.  So he’s cheaper, healthier, and still great.

CMC will be accepted as a top five back by everyone after this season.

I think the point of the thread is to make our fan base think critically about the value of CMC. Basically, who would you rather have? And if that list is short, we've got an extremely valuable player in CMC.

I don't think there's any serious thought about trading him. It's more of an exercise of comparing him to his counterparts.

Kamara - more friendly cap number, similar player

Barkley - same cap number, younger 

 

The best two options still don’t make sense though
