More Moore

The grades will be the same when you're 1 td for your 1 catch. Not taking into account the bullshit reverses we ran. He needs to be implemented immediately to add another playmaker with homerun ability. Right now we're still stuck with possession guys who drop the ball half the time.

I get that but he's not even running routes. I'm not giving up on the kid but to say he's better or even a tenth of what Ridley is right now would be a lie. Like Ridley could be helping us now not week 13.

Bingo.

Discussing and understanding actual football stuff isn’t TheRed’s forte. So he would turn to a site like PFF to look for a bail out.

Ridley was wayyyyy more polished coming out and is ballin out right now, that’s just the truth while we sit here and wait on Moore.

This has nothing to do with Moore because it's asinine to evaluate him yet, but I will say Ridley has exceeded my expectations thus far. Then again he gets to play in a system with one of the best WRs in football being a constant focus of the defense and a solid number two behind him.

We've got Torrey Smith

And it's not like we have a bunch of time to wait. Or window is probably another two years. Ridley could have been Funchess replacement next year with his pace. I just don't see Moore developing that fast. So now we hope Samuel and Byrd stay healthy.

Yep our ‘Cam window’ is closing and we’ve drafted these “projects” way too often during his time.

We’ve sat here and waited for Funchess and now he’s an FA next year. Shaq Thompson is another one, we’re going to have to make a decision on his 5th yr option already and he’s still waiting to get a full time role. Samuel is another one who was soooo raw coming out of college that you knew he’d make zero impact year one.

I’m so tired of listening to the same people on this board whine about a prospect because “he’s too old”. Well that dude who is “too old” is only 24 and guess what? He’s ready to play RIGHT NOW. So you use him for his 5 prime years and let him walk at 29. That’s better than getting next to nothing out of someone during their rookie contract (Funchess) and are now forced to make a decision on whether or not to give him a bigger contract. You just spent all this time developing the guy for what? Sometimes you need to take the guys who are most ready and play for the next 4-5 years and quit thinking about these players next contracts when drafting.

Totally agree. I mean Funchess still can't run solid routes and it's year 4. Samuel if everything works out still has only two more years left. Byrd is just not durable and stays only because our WRs are terrible. People talked poo about Moton and Jackson but look how they are performing early on. I mean Moton is a absolute steal that was playing extra tackle last year.

You scoop that Ridley Falcons jersey already?

    • I would write “give remmers tight end help” on a yellow sticky note and stuck it in shulas playbook the night before superbowl 50.
    • And don’t worry about Bryce he will be great… Peyton Manning had a horrible rookie year too 😂
    • Nothing wrong with it at all until you start telling others they are bad fans or not fans. But you are the good fan because you never say negative stuff about the team.    I did many years of that type of uninformed fanning because there really was no info and coverage like there is with the internet.    I mean, I used to go to the store and get Street and Smith’s annual football issue. That was about the extent of what you could get if you didn’t live in a big city with sportswriters covering and reporting.  There was no video to look at or replay the games and if you didn’t live in the market you could only rarely see your football team play.    TI have fanned since being a kid in the early 1960s, and as late as 1995 - ‘97 I lived in Atlanta and good luck getting more than 3 or 4 games a year on TV. No radio either. No print coverage outside of an AP recap and box unless they played Atlanta.  People today that have always had the network connection don’t know.    I wasn’t very educated about the Panthers until I finally got internet.
