Out of the pocket Mahomes was 10/15 for 192 yards. Quite the playmaker

The kid is legit. He’s got the arms, pocket presence, the legs, the field vision .... dude is a stud 

I just wanna need to get used to him talking like kermit ... my co-worker is from KC and a big chiefs fan and he was imitating him today and killing me

His play against Denver was on. He constantly extended plays and got the ball out of his hands accurately, great decision making...

Denver really lost the game giving up a 2nd and 35 on the go ahead TD drive. 

What I saw from Mahomes was a guy who constantly made plays outside the pocket after making the first guy miss. When he does that it gives his receivers a couple of extra seconds to either uncover against man or find a soft spot against zone. Defenders must be disciplined in their rush lanes and not give him an escape route. Keep him in the pocket and make him make throws on time.

Also, on that next-to-last KC TD, VM was in position to put his hand up and deflect that pass to Kelce. He was basically in perfect position but didn't react.

That said... Mahomes is the truth.

Knew he was going to thrive, even with the great draft the Saints had, can you imagine if they took Mahomes over Lattimore.

Mahomes look like he has a firm grasp on things going forward.  We knew what Alex Smith was about in the past in terms of what he brought to the Chiefs, but now they are lead by a guy who has more to bring to the table.  They get Berry back, this looks to be an amazing team.

They have the worst defense in the NFL. Berry isn't fixing that by himself.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
