i mean... jesus... Eagles + Mahomes lead crew + the Rams are getting all the credit... if you take into account we played Atlanta without Trai + 42 as our safety and no thomas davis...  WAIT ... JESUS

And this is a more mature battle hardened team with an INFUSION of youth + a new owner that despises OLD {wine and cheese crowd} money ( you can tell by just looking at him - reminds me of the billion character )

When i hear Tepper .... this is what i imagine he looks like.. of course as a younger dude.

Our man tepper looking at the NFL and chuckling..... This man Got a steal ...and right after gambling was legalized... and i have a weird feeling... we have a Gritty superbowl team on the horizon.

Would be awsome to win a SB doing the opposite of every team and just running it straight up their ass.

This Bye week was just Godsend...  HAHAHHAH were going to Road GRade our opponents it wont be pretty. I had seen that Fitz nonsense before on another team... Falcons are not as good as they think they are... Mahomes will get game planned on... if teams can stop Michael Vick and Cam newton... you bet they will find a way to slow down Kansas...

meanwhile carolina has nothing but Youth... Balling out.

I thought I read that that character was based on Tepper. I don’t remember where I heard that but early in the vetting process it was in some publication.

Everybody in the NFC is looking up to the Rams, like most figured they would be. After that, I think there's a handful of teams that are pretty close together, Panthers included.

Panthers

Eagles

Vikings (maybe. I put them here because I don't think their defense will continue to suck)

Saints

Packers

Bears

No particular order there. The NFC is stacked.

I agree with this assessment. Whoever comes out of the south may end up having to beat the rams in la. No easy task. But the panthers just need to shore up their remaining weakness which is deep passing game using Samuel and Moore. The defense should improve and cam/cmc combo may test the weak ram linebackers.

    • I liked him when he was at Michigan because I'm a Wolverine homer. After that...
    • Hello, soccer fans [crickets, tumbleweed flies by]. The World Cup kicks off in less than 2 weeks and, well, 🇺🇸USA USA USA🇺🇸 and all. We beat Senegal 3-2 yesterday in a tune-up friendly at BoA, with Christian Pulisic finally entering the scoring column.  How will we do in the World Cup once our tournament kicks off on the 12th? Well, there are 48 teams (assuming Iran is there) and it feels like one of two thing happens: we get grouped for the first time since '98, or we make it to the Round of 16 for the third time in the last four World Cups. I tried out the lottery for an Atlanta game and struck out, so yesterday was as World Cup as I'll get for in-person ($285/ticket for like Norway vs $39/ticket for USMNT right beforehand was a layup).  The U.S. has a travel-heavy schedule in group play, playing in LA, Seattle and LA. Real road warrior mentality being built. Glad the east coast gets worse kickoff times for a NA World Cup than a Qatar World Cup.
    • Well, that's the thing. Drafting players only for their physical measurables as you are suggesting only really happened during 2024, and X unfortunately has become the poster child for that. To be clear, it's not necessarily about drafting RAS over skill, but RAS over NFL-readiness and/or a solid body of work. Lots of players show skill in college, but those skills don't necessarily translate to the NFL for a multitude of reasons. But, getting back to the main point, to be clear, I believe that our FO is still enamored with physical gifts (who wouldn't be?), but now they're letting Dr. Eric Eager's proprietary system--his "secret sauce" prioritize the players that the Panthers draft, and it seems like it weighs not only a solid body of work, relative to a college career of course, but consistent gradual improvement as evidenced by production pretty highly.
