I am starting to feel the same sentiment. Why he called a zone blitz at end the game where Obada drops in coverage to cover Barkley is beyond me.

mmmmmmmm that's a name i haven't heard.... Obada....

I do find it funny that there's no thread about how bad Cam was. Cam's two picks were the equivalent of Luke getting trucked and ran over twice on two touchdowns: something that would have caused DOZENS of threads about how Luke was the #1 reason why we needed a 63 yard field goal to win. I'm not saying Cam deserves a ton of hate today, just that people like to criticize Luke to be edgy or different.

1. You missed it the Cam Newton sucks thread.

2. It was just as stupid as you would think it would be.  Had gems such as "I would take Andrew Luck over Cam in a heartbeat" amongst others.

3. Luke rarely gets criticized because he rarely play bad.  Most of his criticism has to deal with his health, which is valid based off the number of concussions.

4. Just as Cam is the leader of the offense and gets a large majority of the blame when it underperforms .. Same happens on defense with Luke.

I sit in the Upper bowl. Granted its Row 4, but still plenty far away from the action that you sometimes miss the minutiae of the game. But the amount of holding committed by the Giants was blatant. It was criminal. You could not miss it, even from the Upper levels. I don't believe the Giant's had a single hold call against them.

I too sit in the upper level...front row.  I often use my binoculars because I like to zoom in on the line play.  I am amazed the number of holds I see that are not called.

eric washington has way to much faith in his front 4 and doesnt seem to have a good feel for the game. how many times you going to watch the giants throw slants?

Exactly, it is like Wilks and the secondary last year with all of that blitzing and man to man coverage.  Once these position coaches get promoted its like they feel the unit they used to specialize in are world beaters all of a sudden. Obada covering Barkley and the ten yard cushion was back in a big way yesterday.

LOOOOOOOOOL. This is fuging pathetic. Buncha red hats running around blaming Cam for everything from celebrations, to questioning his arm strength and his intelligence. You name it. When people try to ascertain the whys and what fors, the nuthugger term gets thrown about. That's before the racism ensues.

Simply question if Luke's lost a step or isnt as effective and booooyyy the robe and hood defenders come flying out of the woodwork. Too many of these types feel comfortable with being openly ridiculous (trying to be civil here). Bitching about politics, but inject racial politics into everything. Even in being "fans" of the team. Silly and petulant af.

Wow this is a new one. I'm a MAGA/KKK dude if I point out that Cam's two picks were back breakers that would have been responsible for an L if not for Gano? I know there is a lot of racism when it comes to Cam criticism, but he doesn't get a pass because of poor passes because of his skin color either. Let's call it how we see it: the only two standouts from yesterday were a white kicker making kicks and a black safety making picks. A black quarterback and a white linebacker didn't exactly have games that they'll put on their highlight reel for their kids. We won a game that we would have lost 99% of the time and we should be grateful for that and get ready for Washington.

    • Lord, I remember that time. It was wild in here. The Nolan Nawrocki hit piece comes to mind, and the dudes in here who wanted that to be so true. Something like Cams smile being fake. Weve had some characters in this place as well. I remember Grits, TheRealDeal, Sanjay and his constant posting of that one football play, King Taharqa, PhillyB lol. It’s been a wild ride
    • Oh, duh! Just sign the best players! Haven't thought about that one before!!
    • You can play one through six degrees of separation with all of them if you want.  Okay they have this in common or that in common.  I don’t know how to assign meaning to it without evaluating each one.  For example in Darnold’s case his arm could bail him out sometimes and it could get him in trouble sometimes. Bryce is not going to get bailed out by his arm. He  very obviously, IMO, has trouble seeing the field and his margins with his arm strength are smaller or thinner than a guy like Darnold’s margin would be. By a lot. Or Stafford. Hell he threw a ball almost 80 yards when he was young and can still do 70.   Bryce does not have that.  If he succeeds it is because he is near perfect.   I just don’t consider him as offering me any real advantages.
