Enough with the complaints about our offense

Yes Ron likes to slow things down and go into “hammer time” and that stops our very potent offense from running up the score. His clock management and bad Time Outs hurt us. Not getting plays called in time hurts us. Cam seemed to regress in the second half to pushing to hard for the big plays,.There is a ton to complain about yes.

HOWEVER, we were up 21-3 and 11pts in the game till the very end vs a Giants D that’s really legit. Our offense with all of these issues is still freaking cruising and putting up points. If We need to be worried about something it needs to be the defense.

I just re-watched the game, after Wright picked up a huge 4th and 1 to get to the ball to the 20

Ron went into play for the FG mode. Absolutely terrible 1st and 2nd down calls which forced a 3rd and long. Ron has no killer mentality and its been a problem for a while, he's the common denominator. We settle for a FG, Giants score and take the lead knowing this defense isn't good. We end up with a miracle FG. If we don't get back to 2015 play being more aggressive and running up the score on teams I'm predicting a disappointing ending to the season. Samuel and Olsen does help, but it doesn't change this offense going conservative and the bad play calls at times.

I'm pretty sure the Ints helped "slow things down".

So you guys think Ron actually grabbed Norv after the Wright first down and said,..

"whatever you do, fail to get a touchdown,..we need a fieldgoal"

good lord,...

Im wanting John Defilippo as our new headcoach,.. would love it if we change our offense but damn,..

No he said "take the air out of the ball".

Same thing you hear retired coaches talk about and confirm 100% in interviews. Usually they do it with under 10 to go in the 4th with a bigger than 3 point lead.

So you think this doesn't happen?

good lord....(it's a fact regardless of what you believe though)

We have one of the harder schedules as well, we beat Cincy who will be a playoff team, desperate NYG and Dallas who are going to be in the playoff hunt.   Basically every game is a must win to keep up with NO.   This team is doing fine considering the circumstances and the injuries.

To this point,  same folks were railing against Shula and praising Norv.  Why?  This argument suggests Ron takes over offense play calls.

Can someone explain when norv gives offensive control to Ron?

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
