Norman had one good year.  I would put Eric Davis ahead of him.  Davis had 5 ints every year he was here.  Hell, he should probably be number 1.

I remember when the Panther's board at the time called them Eric avis and oug Evans because neither had any D.

I think it's both. Reid is built like a LB with safety speed and agility... Jackson is pretty small for a corner these days but clearly makes up for it with speed and his attitude and physicality.

You hardly heard Jackson's name called Sunday--and he is a rookie.  That is all I need to know about him---LOVE this player.

As for Reid, if we re-sign him and Gaulden continues to develop, we could be set at S next season--with Reid at SS.

Bradberry, Jackson, and maybe a nickel free agent.  Set.

Wish we had 2 starting CBs with that drive. The other CB stopped to watch the play before the ball was recovered and then just casually walked across the field.

Man, it's gotta sting big time, that Bradberry is still here. Add to that, he is playing really well. Oh the horror. What if we wind up signing him long term?

All honesty I'd argue Donte Jackson is playing at a higher level than Bradberry.

And it's not even a slight at Bradberry. He's playing at a high level as well.

I just think Donte's lowkey playing at an elite level. While he's had rookie mistakes, he's really been shoring up his side of the field. His athleticism and potential is there and off the charts. He's been seriously good.

Agreed. Jackson's mistakes are often "man, he just let his feet die there" or "man, he didn't break on that quite on time to break it up". You know, rookie mistakes that happen.

Bradberry is making "man, he didn't turn his hips right" and "man, he let the best receiver on the Eagles roster run by him on the last drive of the game and had to take a heads-up pass interference to avoid blowing a game that we dominated in the fourth quarter" type mistakes. You know, mistakes that absolutely should not happen to a 3rd year corner in a big time game.

Bradberry had a rough game Sunday. Odd, considering I would put Alshon below some of the other names he has successfully covered this season. He had only one real pass breakup on Sunday, and even that was ugly in terms of execution. Hope he gets it figured out. Gonna be a long season for him if he performs more like he did this past week, especially with how the final month is scheduled with the Falcons and Saints x2, not to mention playing the Steelers in a couple weeks on a short week.

Doug Evans had 8 interceptions in 2001, and they were all in like the first 9 games.

then teams realized "oh we can run or throw to literally any other part of the field and get 20 yards" and I dont think he saw a pass thrown to him the rest of the year.
