Panthers are 6-3 and will very likely be favored in their next four games.

I'm not sure if we beat Seattle. This Pitt game was like the siren call in 2015 when ATL beat us. We may very well end up 9-7 unless this defense is fixed now.

Don't see how they can fix this defense in ten days. If anyone has the magic elixir, please let me know.

I think we need an excuses conspiracy theory  and crying thread and some google magic to feed it.

If a user comes in to hijack a thread other forum members can click a junk button similar to how pie works.  If several members click it  count gets up to number (whatever number you want to set it at) the post gets swept to the excuses thread similar to your junk mail folder.

This will resolve some of the thread hi jacking and whining and as a bonus keep me very entertained.

Love be this place. Go team.

Everyone ready to hate on the teams playing today and get back to winning starting in Detroit?

Not 'til Tues Morning. Gotta get the whole week's games gone. You know that debacle from Thursday will be mentioned repeatedly today and probably tomorrow night.

We for whatever reason play good at home and do the complete opposite on the road. I told my co-work (unfortunately a saints fan) that I didnt have a good feeling about the game because of how we played on the road. Well sure enough we dropped one of the biggest eggs in how many years. For whatever reason we are a beast at home and suck on the road. Sounds like coaching to me but maybe there are other elements (mental and possibly refs) involved. There shouldn't be that much drop off on where you play. Wounds heal with wins and this team desperately needs to win the next 4 games or playing in January wont happen. This team needs to be road warriors not turnstile like Thursday. The Panthers have the potential to win it all but can they overcome themselves on the road and continue to win at home. With any luck ATL and/or Nola loses today.

It still only counts as one loss, and it wasnt a game many expected us to win anyway so its not the end of the world or anything.  However it would be nice to see some of our areas of deficiency being addressed, instead of doing the same old thing, or we may not even make the playoffs.

We HAVE to go at least 3-1 in the next 4 (three of those on the road). The road games worry me, but we're better than any team we're going to face in the next four weeks.  Put up or shut up time, especially for Rivera who's teams historically get better in November/December.  If we can go 3-1...

That get us to 9-4. with ATL, NO, and @NO left...

If Rivera doesn't make the playoffs with that set-up, fire him as soon as Week 17 is over.

    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
    • It was always a matter of time with Cam’s playing style and a shorter shelf life than passers that protect themselves. I suppose Cam could have still been playing in 2028 ten years after the hit took place, but he would need to have evolved as a quarterback and become more of a passer than the dual threat maestro he was. It’s sad because it makes us think of what could have been, but I do feel it was always a matter of time until all the hits took their toll.
