This was the easiest game remaining on our schedule and he chose the least logical time to pull his balls out.

Cam just missed a throw. Plus, offensive lineman forced Cam to try it high as well.

this is an incredibly stupid argument and can be made for any failed play. ron chose a poor time to make a huge bet. those kinds of moves are notorious for costing coaches their jobs.

I think it was right to go for it. Gano was shaky today. By going for the regular extra point you're relying on Gano to (1) score the extra point, then (2) likely kick a game winner in OT when he has missed twice in the same day. At least here we take the lead and try to shut down the Lions and just win.

We should have never been in this situation. So to do defend Ron as actually using his balls is completely irrelevant.
