So how can a defensive coach game plan unless he understands offense schemes and individual tendencies of other teams? Think about it for a second. In order to prepare your defense you watch hours and hours of offensive team film weekly. Don't tell me you don't pick up how offenses operate. One of the most misunderstood concepts in football.

so, ron doesn't intervene on offense when we're getting unbalanced, he hasn't intervened on defense, until now, same result.  he has nothing to do with players making mistakes.  i'm wondering what it is he does and why we need him.

If you watch that play you can see both Cam and receiver look at each other and verbally wonder why the route wasn't executed correctly as if one is blaming the other...........it looked like a timing pass to me where either Cam threw to the wrong spot......or it was the right spot and the receiver cut to the wrong spot on the field ........as a result an easy interception..........surely the media saw this and so did Ron.

The ball just sailed?

Funchess admitted it was on him he ran route wrong

So much is predicated on CAM. Cam is hurt and can no longer rely on his arm especially at the end of the game when he has been throwing all game long. This is where we should have creative PRO stuff especially at the line of scrimmage. Well I don' know i didnt watch the game bc I knew it would come down to Cam and he would miss the throw with a bomb shoulder or just something would go wrong and he would be the blame. Thus team is defeated mentally Cam left the building on Seahawks loss cause he knows the defense is soft and will not be able to keep up with them especially with the line and his shoulder being a problem. I say play back ups and see what u got. We are not a team trending upward but a downward out of control spiral. We will not look good against any playoff team.

For Ron you're a defensive HC. You should be letting people know what we should have as far as defense goes. I don't want to hear about holes. When gettleman was here I can tell he made those decisions mostly on his own, Ron couldn't say much cause we did go to the playoffs after he came in while were losing 2 years before. So when you sit back and watch your defense get old and have nothing but draft busts, this is the defense you get. The soft zone scheme is garbage always been so Ron isn't getting off that easy when it comes to the defense
