Favorite thing today: Heinicke twice motioning to speed up at end of half, before 2 minute warning...

And none of the other players on the team being prepared for it.

Heinicke just looking around stupified as linemen and receivers alike jogged listlessly back to the line.

Almost like they'd never been coached in how to do it.

yea... thats for forward thinking coaches...

I missed that. I'll have to go back and look at it.

It'd be pretty sad to see arguably the least experienced guy on the field be the one trying to get everybody going.

This team has absolutely no self awareness. Its consistently lethargic inside 2 minutes and its transcends numerous OCs.

Its Cam, sure, but it isn't just Cam.

This team is fat and plucky and doesn't embody who we claim to be as an organization and it needs an overhaul.

Because Cam never seems to have that awareness. Olsen has shown similar frustration

I said it in the game thread that it's blatantly obvious that the clock mismanagement issues are 100% on the coaching staff. Different QB, exact same baffling clock mismanagement.

This situation suggests he had the play and was ready but the others weren't. That's different as noted by the OP

More likely, he's just running off of instinct of what he did in college. This team has always been awful in clok management situations. When no one is ready for it, that's on the coaching staff. It's like we never practice a two minute offense.

Two minute offenses are RISKY, bro.
