Sure sounds like it doesn't it? I would have to think no coach would do this if he wasn't going to be here next year.

Not sure I would tie those decisions to that of a safe coach vs not.

Let’s say Ron isn’t safe.  You think Tepper would be happy with Ron getting CMC hurt in a pointless last game of the season where we officially now have a 0% chance of making the postseason? That gonna help Ron’s stock?

I guess we’ll find out in a few days if we’re getting a new coach, or we’re going 0-16 next year.

I'm at the point where I don't believe we're getting a new coach.

If we stick with both the same head coach and GM though, the Panthers need to post signs that say "Abandon hope all ye who enter here" over the gates at BOA.

Hurney just gets the players Ron wants.  Blaming him for a horrible season is useless.  Blame him for horrible contracts.  Ron has nothing to do with those.

If Ron is here next year, I'm fuging take a year off.  Seriously. I'd also lose a ton of respect for Tepper.  You have to be fuging blind to not see Ron's numerous, serious delinquencies.

Ronde Barber or Mic Mixon. Might as well choose between the devil and the deep blue sea.

They're both monotone and don't care what's happening, and they have no personality. At least Mixon is obligated to be bias toward the Panthers, so there's that. He wins.

“What we have to do is we have to be smart with these guys going forward,”

Where the hell was this at the end of 2016 with Cam. Playing him hurt in meaningless games is what started this shitshow to begin with.

    • In a lot of ways it makes sense to just draft a tackle early so they have flexibility with icky's injury and Motons not getting younger. I'd love for them to resign BC cause to me he looks pretty good anywhere they put him
    • Rods the one who needs to go if they don't win a cup soon, Overall I like the way Tulsky operates, do i wish he had pivoted to several smaller moves instead of going all in on a big acquisition? Obviously.   But RBA is the one I'm locked onto, he is too stuck in his ways and if if "his way" can't get somthing done he just triples down and proves his insanity by trying the same stupid crap over and over, the facebook casuals will be like but but but 8 years in a row making the playoffs.... yes we'll guess what we should have at least a cup to show for it, yes only one team wins every year but this year will be the 8th consecutive year making the playoffs.... heck none of us even get excited about that and haven't in four years minimum.  Our top guys are nearing the peak of their prime the time is now, but the canes seem content to stand pat and "make the playoffs" anther 5-8 years in a row.
    • #Panthers TE Tommy Tremble has a $2 million guarantee that is triggered today at 4 p.m. I don’t expect any movement there, fwiw. Tremble is due a $3.67 million base salary this season. He has another $2.4 million in incentives on his deal, per Over the Cap. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/2032117015121391697?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
