Probably won't see anything official on him for a while (tampering and such).

Could see more speculation as free agency approaches.

This.

Technically he is still employed by the Panthers and he can still work out at the stadium, get treatment, etc.

Thomas was interviewed by an Atlanta radio station on radio row for the super bowl today.

Highlights-  "I wouldn't have any problem coming back home "

Being a FA is bittersweet, expected to spend his entire career in Carolina. Not retiring, still wants to play.

Cam is misunderstood because of his style.

If he played for Atlanta he would be dead to me. I hate the Falcons and all their players. The idea of him going there is just heinous.

Well prepare yourself for the possibility IF the falcons even take a look at him.

The man dad died and mother had two emergency surgeries this year, him going home to finish off near his family makes too much sense. It's not like he didn't want to finish here.

    • One of his handful of good games... If he can ever get to a consistently high level, then he'd change minds. As it is... Meh.
    • People are also jumping to the conclusion that Darnold would have figured it out here. I very much disagree. He needed a place where he could be a backup for a while with no pressure. So all the pining over him was pointless. Highly unlikely he would do anything but continue to fail had he stayed here. The one that got away was Baker. He was not as bad as he seemed here. He was always a good player but we were a two bit, middle of the road college program grasping at straws. Had we invested the time in Baker that we have done for Bryce, history would have been quite a bit different. To what end, who knows? Doesn't matter. There are a million hindsight stories that are very unkind to this franchise. There is no one that is more significant than the other. It is what it is.
    • He’s a serviceable starter for us that doesn’t cost much. The reason he doesn’t cost much is that he has flaws, one of which appears to be catching the ball.  It would be good to have a better corner opposite JC but he’s not at the top of the list when it comes to people we need to upgrade.
