They paid him way too much and he barely played for them last year.  He was great in 2015 but 2016 and 2017 we’re far from it. Love the guy though and hope he lands on his feet somewhere. Not here though...

Coleman was one free agent that we cut bait with at the right time. I'd give the staff credit except for the fact that literally everyone knew it was time to move on.

I think that it may be a testimony of/to our coaching and understanding a player's strengths and weaknesses also. Not saying that it's true, but it seems like the majority of players that are involuntary axed here (for whatever reasons) notably fall off. It's not like I'm talking old guys either. [Hell, it's the old ones that use whatever gas they have left in the tank to make their last stand and show out]

contending teams make the right moves...but when you have a talent like matt kalil for a GM...what would you expect.
