Elway: Broncos had 'big concerns' about Matt Paradis' ankle

Meh I’m not going to knock Elways just because we signed Paradis.

Injury in the legs is a legitimate concern for big men and I’m not going to be a douche and act like I’m not worried.

Elway fielded a team to beat one of the best teams of all time, the 15-1 Panthers. Not saying he’s a great GM but sure let’s do the whole but this but that bit because you guys are salty.

I hope he can bounce back and be a solid player because if he can’t the Panthers really need to evaluate their ability to find a quality oline without giving out worthless contracts.

Yep another real talk post that’ll get shitted from niaeve fans.

We'll just have to wait and see. Lots of Broncos fans were pissed to see him go and Elway has been getting increased heat from fans as of late. He kinda had to say something.

But, when a player goes for less on the open market than many anticipated, there's usually a good reason for it.

So you want him back but then say "meh" hes damaged goods? Elway is one of the most overrated people in the league. He's like Polian who made a career after taking Manning over Leaf.

Yeah he has a super bowl congrats but they haven't done anything in the last 4 years worth noting.

Drew Brees was also never going to throw again...how did that work out.

I live in CO, trust me it's not Panthers fans being salty. Broncos fans are all about fed up with Elway and his complete inability to find a serviceable QB. Trading for Flacco did absolutely nothing to placate their very legit concerns on that front. Quite the opposite.

I grew up a Colt fan--and when I was a kid, one of my first memories is Elway telling the media he would not play for the Colts.  Then he got lucky and won 2 SBs at the end of his career and then a super bowl against us.

I hate him, in other words.  He wants to avoid criticism because he is a narcissist.  Paradis had an injury, we had him take a physical where we examined the injury.  He is laying the ground work in the event his fans bash him for letting Paradis walk.

    • As the demand for apartments grows parking is becoming limited and it’s sad. I use to tailgate but I just park at uncc deck now and train in and head to rhino market. My tailgate grill hates me.
    • It simply depends on perspective. CMC, when healthy and on the field, has a higher YPC and YPR than LT. Yes, he's been injury prone, but this is simply a "all quarter-century team." There are certainly different stats and different lists. If this were a list or about a team simply based on longevity, then of course LT wins that every time, but some lists are more subjective and nuanced depending upon what they are, and it's not necessarily a reflection upon a person's ability to analyze sports.
    • From my what I have seen the overwhelming majority of people who are considering the notion a possibility don't really want to see it happen but are considering so for a number of reasons. Most importantly availability. Secondly even when he plays the last few seasons he has been red hot or ice cold. Then there is the subject of his defense which to say the least leaves a lot to be desired. Then there is the image of Ball inactive laughing it up on the sideline (while our team was getting the doors blown off) with previous busts who are now relegated to hanging on by a thread in the g league. I think we should be able to recognize with the team going out of their way to put a very strong emphasis on culture and leadership with the conclusion of this years draft that they expect LaMelo to lead the way this upcoming season and that begins with making significant strides and trending in a positive direction in the aforementioned aspects above. It just has to happen.
