Who will have more wins this season the Panthers or the Hornets?

MJ can’t afford a season of no one in the arena. He wants to tank but financially he can’t do it. He will screw up the tank job (or the nba will change the rules fuging up the Hornets chance of getting a franchise player again) by signing a fringe player giving them some wins

If there is another franchise with less appeal I can’t think of one.

So fuggin mad about this Kemba situation.

What do you expect MJ to do? They arent ever gonna be a title contender with the roster they have. They have horrible contracts with Batum and Williams which keeps them from being a major player in free agency. The worst position you can be in in the NBA is that 6-10 seed range where you arent competing for titles and you also arent bad enough to give yourself a good shot at lucking into a top draft pick. MJ doesnt wanna spend the luxury tax to roll out a .500 team and I dont blame him. Let Kemba walk, save the money, and tank until you can get those shitty contracts off the books

Unfortunately, you are correct.

Sadly he is though

Half of this fan base is alur what he did to Kemba

The other half is pissed how inept he is not trading him for anything

A team of nobodys winning 25-30 games wont get anyone excited

The NBA has created an increased environment where it's practically impossible for non-major market teams to compete. The max contract stipulation sucks ass. If you're not a marquee destination you have no shot at marquee FAs due to a false ceiling in the market. But, that's exactly what they want - marquee players in marquee markets. I would actually watch the NBA if they'd implement a hard cap and get rid of the max contracts to create parity. Franchises wouldn't be able to create super teams with three superstars.

Yep, only way to do it. You have to hit the lottery at the right time.

problem is I dont know a single guy whos going to be a sure fire stud going into the draft next year. This was the season to tank. Could have had a couple extra picks too if they traded kemba. Dumb dumb dumb, maybe one day curry or zion will step up and come home, but I doubt it.

They’re going to be top of the draft bad for more than one season I’m afraid.

    • Lol. The Texans are literally one of Bryce's six career NFL wins. WTF are you talking about?
    • Yeah, I mean it is a statistical fact and also part of literally a player evaluation. Winston has literally lost dozens of games in his NFL career due to crippling TO's. It's just who he is. Look, it's fun when those insane throws work and he is leading you back from some crazy deficit. But those success are rare. It's why his career GWD count is so low. He's fun but he is fundamentally built to lose games.  If you are talking about a backup QB, you are literally already losing in the first place. That's how you see a backup QB and that's overwhelmingly what they tend to do. Rookie QB's almost always benefit from veteran QB's. Same as literally any other position in the NFL. Why do you think that you so often hear that from the playera themselves? As for Bryce NEEDING one, no he sure as poo shouldn't this late in the game. But he also shouldn't have needed this fuging long to get his fuging footwork straightened out either. Yet here we are.
    • Comfortability is the primary reason. They don't want to hurt Bryce's confidence. But I say if his confidence is that fragile that healthy competition which makes everyone better is enough for them to keep making Andy Dalton rich then Bryce was never going to be the guy anyway. Give me the QB who sees the competition amongst his peers and uses it to take it to the next level. Instead we get the guy who comes out looking like a deer in the headlights against the Texans after we've done everything possible to appease him. Definition of complacency.
