If the goal is to protect Cam Newton, Trent Williams would make a lot of sense. He's a top 3 LT in this league.

How do we possibly afford him, and who gets cut to make room for him and his salary?

The only way this would even be under the slightest of consideration is if we're already convinced that Little is an outright bust. That's highly unlikely this early on.

Could move Little to RT after Moton leaves for the new insane RT market. I believe in Little, but it is a tad concerning hes not putting up more of a fight at LT. Honestly I feel this needs to be talked about more; Williams coming off big knee surgery and never played LT, is the LT. And form what I heard its a firm grip too, its still early tho. 

Kungfudude put a hurt on my Williams dream, missing games can not be over looked.

Getting up there in age, he's desperate and he has a past when it comes to injuries. Sounds like he could be taken for a bargain. Put him at LT, Williams goes over to right, Moton to LG. Super Bowl.
