One concerning note after hearing the Bills slant from joint practice

Voth did an article on it a couple years ago. Cam watching replays of the previous play on the video boards was named as the biggest issue. Cam has also said in a press conference he sometimes stumbles on playcalls in the huddle.

If you're standing around waiting on the play call to come in, what else are you gonna do? If it was on Cam, then when Cam was out it would be expected for this to not be an issue. That hasn't been the case.

At the end of the day, Ron is a defensive minded head coach. I honestly think he wants the offense to run slow to give his D a rest.

I noticed in 2 minute drills the past couple of seasons we were taking precious seconds off the clock getting to the line and getting set. It’s been like that for a while, especially on regular plays. I don’t know who the blame lies on, but if it hasn’t changed in all these years, it’s probably not going to change now.

Shula was blamed, Shula is gone, Ron runs the coaches and D. If this happens in the season the common denominator can only be one person.

defensive coach that believes in ball control.  That about sums Ron up

the slow no huddle is the only solution to give Ron what he wants and allows Cam to shine.

We’ll see how this season goes. I’m seriously concerned about our OL and the pressure it going to put on CMC/Cams body this season.

We had 6 delay of game penalties last year...tied with several other teams for 2nd most.

5 in 2017

4 in 2016

And that doesn't count all the timeouts we burn to avoid delay of game penalties. Feels like hardly a game goes by that we don't have to do this.

What's weird is that we have more at home than away...I didn't look all that closely, but I'd be a little surprised if that was the case for many teams in the NFL.

Either way, it's a MAJOR issue IMO.

It's one thing when you have a young or not so good QB, it's another entirely when you have a very good vet QB.

We all know what this really is though.  Ron wanting to slow the game down to a crawl to limit mistakes.
