I can't believe Cam Newton Is Injured

He could have an extremely minor low ankle sprain that will heal in 2 days and of course they will 100% shut him down. Don’t overreact. He walked off fine and sat on the bench. Probably just being overly cautious in a meaningless game.

Yet the consensus around the league at least from what we are told is that Ron is a good head coach.  I dont get it, maybe Teppers hands were tied because of All or Nothing.  I dont know and dont care.  Just hope that we get this poo turned around or that Ron gets fired by the end of the season.

You’re irrelevant. Go somewhere else.

Sweet, you have a bunch of posts on a message board and that means you are important.  kudos...just means more diarrhea comes out of your mouth then most.

That's not the point

He sat out 2 pre season games to be "cautious". All I've heard all offseason is Cam health. He come out and get hurt within 3 series. Its not good at all... kinda unbelievable.

It’s random luck (or lack thereof), starting QBs have played in the preseason to some degree for decades and decades.

-Paradis is terrible

-if Eric Reid isn't getting a stupid late hit he's late getting over the top

-we shouldn't play the Patriots in the preseason, that's a team that takes training camp and preseason seriously and does all of it at a high intensity. Ron Rivera believes in not pushing guys too hard, keeping things light, frequently holding guys out, and now, practicing in the air condition

-these hall of honor videos are nothing but a sucky reminder this team used to pride itself on physicality and guts, not practice facilities and being "cutting edge."

-prepare for Brian burns to ride the bench behind Bruce Irvin and Mario Addison ala dj Moore while the team needs him

Cam starts week one or not, this is an 8-8 or 9-7 team.  No fire at all.

Yeah preseason....but this team has looked lazy the past few games. Buf and NE can do anything they want with this team.

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
