Official LA Rams at Carolina Panthers Gameday Thread!

Welcome to the official thread of the LA Rams at Carolina Panthers Gameday.

Today, our beloved Panthers will finally show us what they have had planned all offseason.

No excuses! They are healthy and know exactly what to expect in all facets of the game today.

Keys to Panthers Victory:

  • Pressure Goff, then pressure him some more. Goff's QBR dips drastically when under duress. The Panthers will need to lean on their young pass rush to keep constant pressure throughout the game.
  • Run the damn ball. The absolute best way to keep Cam Newton healthy today is to control the game on the ground. I suspect CMC and even Scarlett will have a great game.
  • Don't shut it down, Ron. A 4th quarter lead is meaningless against this team. Pretend you are down three until the very end.

As a reminder, please try to keep reactionary threads ( FIRE RON!!!!!) off the forum. This thread is for general banter. You are free to create new threads on actual topics.

    • I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.
    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
