The problem is we are already playing catch up after 2 home losses, 1 against a division rival. All true fans can project their team winning under different circumstances but how realistic is that?

 Our defense has 4 sacks and 1 interception in 2 games, giving up 47 points. It is not elite.

What did I see that was amazing last night? A geriatric Greg Olsen posting over 100 yards receiving. Curtis Samuels looking like the guy we hoped he would be. Brian Burns authoring the first of many sacks in his career. A defense getting that rarest of scores, a safety when we desperately needed it. A QB throwing for over 300 yards.

And I saw an inexplicable loss.

Forget showing me something amazing, let me ask for something really, really difficult. Show me a win.

yep. one or two mind boggling plays subtracted from the equation and cam has 300 yards, 2 TDs, and we beat the Bucs by two scores and everyone is fudging pumped and I'm not questioning buying flights to London

And that was the tale of the game and possibly the tale in the change of two careers. Jameis has mostly looked like a three-legged waterbuffalo on quaaludes when it comes to being in a collapsing pocket while Cam has traditionally been elusive, aggressive and in command during those situations. Last night, the roles were reversed so glaringly. 

Winston navigated, Cam became Betty White in a rugby match. It just doesn't sit right.

Jameis did play very last night , but we will have to agree to disagree on the DL part. I do agree with your overall point though. The defense is good and if it is just rust and Cam can clean up those wildly inaccurate passes then this really does have the potential to be a pretty good football team.

It is more than rust for Cam.  A rusty arm is one thing, but dead legs are another.  He is now a sitting duck because of his limitations.

The Oline, agreed is trash.  Couple good guys out there, but others are not in their true position and are getting exposed badly, by the even the Bucs

D is not as elite in my opinion. The secondary has been the brighter spot for me. 

I predicted 5-11 this year and I will stick with that

Hahahahaha, I have been sitting here all morning wondering how I got suckered once again.

I have long said that the very worst fans in the World are the ones who support their teams and their players no matter what.  Go to all the games, never leave early, buy the swag, talk up their players nonstop, etc....

Promised myself that if the Panthers weren't going to attempt to put a winning product on the field, then I would no longer financially support them.

Off to London!!!!

So we are going to be in Panther purgatory, where we suck at start of season and then pull out enough wins to keep Ron, year after year after year.  Nothing changes.
