How much playing time did Allen get at this point last year.......and if you are comparing college stats Allen wasn’t good in college either. Give Grier time and he can develop like Allen has.

It’s not about development. Allen has a strong arm and can throw on the run. Grier has a noodle and crumbles under pressure. He was never worth a 3rd round pick

Shows how Ron and Hurney either can’t evaluate or can’t trust their own guys. It’s their fault. Allen showed enough last year not to draft Grier but because Kyle wasn’t drafted he had to get his next Jimmy Clausen. 

It’s still early but yeah I’m willing to bet Hurney wasted a 3rd round pick

He was 3 picks away from being picked in the 4th round... why people skipping over that. Please tell me who should have been picked at 100 instead? Any other QB that was available would have been QB3 too behind Allen. Our 4th round pick is showing potential... poo even our 5th round pick should get some carries. I don't understand the problem at all.

people need to chill out. It’s 1 game. It’s laughable you want to crown him.

Is there a reason to be optimistic? Yes. 

But let’s wait until he plays a team that has won a game this year to decide.
