All I can tell you all is check, double check and triple check. Thomas Cook is one of, if not the largest travel company in Europe.

They have 21,000 employees, all now unemployed. They own four airlines, now sitting on the tarmac. They left 150,000 travelers stranded all over the world.

That is one hell of a failure.

Up until they went belly up Thomas cook was reputable.

Ive bought trip insurance before and had to make a claim.  It was fairly easy and they didn’t question it over what was specifically stated in the policy.  Different circumstances for sure but I wat reimbursed about 1k. Was not cheated at all. Travel insurance was through a company called Allianz.  Not recommending. Just stating a fact.

I just recently this year had to make a claim and it was very reasonable process. I never knew if travel insurance was legit but after having to actually use it, it was a very wise and affordable choice.

You think the Panthers are ever going to allow me to stop?

Nail biting aside, glad this story didn't affect you. First thing I thought when I saw the headline was "Oh crap, hope that isn't hitting any of our people."

Granted, I suppose it still might affect some Panther fans who didn't book through The Riot.

Allianz are one of the better ones.  American Express also offer some good plans.

Don't know anything about how the travel co will affect Panthers fans, but I did hear on lthe news last night that with the Brexit stuff going  on in the UK - plane ticket prices to London have dropped about 25% in the last few months.

I mean....most companies are...until they aren't.

But I hear ya, they certainly were a big player.

Maybe my experience with them was different as it was a natural disaster vs. something more normal.  Last year during Florrence is where the issues were....it was ungodly what all they wanted from us, statements from airports, all of the receipts, etc...my wife handled most of it, but they were trying their best to not give us much, if any at all.

She finally wore them down and we ended up OK, not great, but not bad either.
