pff liking greg little a lot

Sometimes with a power rusher all a tackle can do is use the rusher's speed to push him behind and to the side of the QB. Maybe there's a few times when the rusher will win and the QB has to be ready for this. Norv was even rushing more to the left this game with gains. Greg Little did an amazing job. AND GREG LITTLE IS A ROOKIE! {Sorry for shouting, I got excited.}

How do they measure pressures?  I'm like 100% positive Mercilus beat him once.

He played a good game nonetheless, just skeptical about the 0 pressures.  PFF has always been weird about how they measure that.

PFF is weird about it but I can almost guarantee the Mercilus strip sack you're probably thinking of would not have been attributed to Little.

Wasn't he covering Mercilus on the second fumble?

Either way, thought he did a stellar job.

Littles job as a tackle is to push the DE outside and usher him around the pocket /behind the qb... which he did perfectly.  If Kyle would have stepped up in the pocket it would have allowed little to maintain his leverage.  Instead Allen moved to his right (maybe he couldnt go up, idk? )and the DE was able to run right into him and strip sack him from behind.

Yep, Little did his job. Problem was Paradis got pushed way up and Allen could not step up.

yeah, that's the one I'll have to see when the coaches film comes out.  Initial thought was Allen but Paradis is certainly possible as well or whatever Van Roten was doing.
